Road Rash 2000 brings back lawless, high-speed combat motorcycle racing with new multi-player modes, better fighting, a new ‘be the cop’ mode that are sure to makes this iteration the best Road Rash yet!  

In Road Rash 2000, players will be able to compete in two new multiplayer modes.  A unique sidecar mode is a two player co-operative mode on a single screen.  While the driver focuses the steering and some brawling, the other player fights off challengers with a collection of weapons including clubs and chains.  Players will also be able to duel in an all-new two-player competition mode with split screen racing.

Fight animations will be dialed up in Road Rash 2000 to allow Combos and “super” punches.  Combos will allow players to use a specialized series of attacks in quick succession, faster than they could be sequenced individually so as to create a more powerful overall attack.  “Super” punches will allow single spectacular take down attacks.

There will be two gangs for players to choose from in Road Rash 2000.  Each will have its own attack style and cache of weapons, as well as distinctive rider ranks, grunt, lieutenant and captain. 

There is also a new “be the cop” mode in Road Rash 2000 that allows players to put on mirrored shades and assume a power hungry attitude to become a cop, free to take down the bad guys and send them to the slammer.  

Improved graphics textures and a faster engine will give Road Rash 2000 an exhilarating sense of speed.  This time around, the game will feature three different geographic regions in which to race --- Urban, Alpine and Desert.  These regions will be connected by long highways that gradually transition between each region.  The Urban region will feature the usual metropolitan sprawl of traffic, pedestrians and road hazards such crates, shopping carts and trash dumpsters.  The Alpine section will offer the most challenging roads and require supreme driving skill.  Lastly, the Desert is represented by long, uninterrupted sections of road that are best suited for combat.

As with its predecessor, Road Rash 2000 will feature a soundtrack that befits the pace of its onscreen action.
